Simpson Blacks Civil (SB Civil) was formed after a partnership was forged between Simpson Earthmoving and Blacks Hire.
The new business was initiated to take advantage of the different skillsets that the two owners, Josh Simpson and Alistair McCourtie, could bring to the table. Both having worked in the civil and pipeline industries in New Zealand and abroad.
Since its inception, SB Civil has quickly become a preferred contractor for some of Aucklands leading construction companies and developers. A contributing factor to this is the core values the company has in customer service, high quality workmanship and the ability to react positively to problem solving when the need arises.
With an extensive fleet of GPS machine controlled equipment and modern heavy transport vehicles, matched with our highly skilled work force, SB Civil have the capabilities to complete complex and large scale projects efficiently, on time and on budget.
Health & Safety
Here at SB Civil, we pride ourselves on our level of commitment to Health and Safety and make it our highest priority to provide a safe workplace for our staff, subcontractors, clients and general public. We are registered Site Safe Members, with all staff holding valid Site Safe Passports and Construct Safe qualifications. We can supply a full Health & Safety policy which is regularly revised and can also supply Task Analysis or JSA prior to jobs commencing. We also have registered first aiders in our team and carry first aid kits and fire extinguishers in all our vehicles!
